Dania Beach is wedged between two of the county's biggest pieces of infrastructure. Port Everglades spans Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, and a four-building office campus built in 2024 as Spirit Airlines' headquarters stands just south of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
That campus includes a 180,000-square-foot office building of six floors, an example of how new and large some of the city's commercial stock is. Bisnow reported in June 2026 that the campus was headed to auction, so its owner may change. Buildings near the port share its open-water exposure, which affects how long an exterior coating lasts.
The city also has a Historic Preservation Ordinance. The Nyberg-Swanson House is on the National Register of Historic Places and protected by it. No formal historic district is named, and our research turned up no Dania Beach color standard for commercial property. Does Dania Beach have a historic preservation ordinance?
Yes. The city says the Nyberg-Swanson House is on the National Register of Historic Places and is protected by the City of Dania Beach Historic Preservation Ordinance.
What does commercial painting cost?
Every job is quoted from a walk of the building, or from photos and drawings when they show enough. How long does a commercial repaint take?
A schedule comes after the walk-through, not before it. The schedule depends on the size and condition of the surfaces, the repairs found once washing is done, the weather, the access method, any board or color approval, and the hours the building allows us to work. Once those are known, you get a sequence with the dependencies named.
